Bubble bath or lazy Sunday morning?

Still trying out fragrances, I got a ton of samples from mfk, xerjoff, le labo, goldfield and banks and nishane, and I definitely have SOME different opinions on some of the popular fragrances. Mfk br 540 smells almost like nothing to me, and becomes a skin scent to me after 30 min, but the extrait smells a little sweeter, but still feels like it sticks close to my skin. However, other people instantly smell both when I walk into the room, so the extrait and the edp are a lot stronger to others, while they seem subdued to me. Le labos another 13 smelled almost offensive and fecal in the opening to me, but became wonderfully woody and mature in the dry down, which intrigued me, so I bought a full bottle. However, some people say it smells like sex, which I don't get, but it does smell sexy? So, try the samples of whatever you are interested in, and test them out (the amount you spray, the type of day you wear them (hot, moderate, cool, chilly days) and others reactions( make your friends your guinea pigs). All of these inputs will help you discover what scents work for you for many occasions. After buying a lot of sample sets, never blind buy. Don't commit 100-500$ to anything you can't try on. You wouldn't do it with clothes without a return policy, it's the same with scents, except you cat really return a bottle with the same ease as clothing. I like le labos sample set because their fragrances are very basic and to the point. (Le labo names their fragrances, for the most part, after the main accord, so very approachable considering that you're ordering the samples, and that you can easily discern what that specific note smells like when mentioned in RUclips reviews). I like fragrances that can smell repulsive to others, and the opposite is true as well, in that popular fragrances can smell offensive to me. Scents are complicated, give yourself time to explore. Samples for me last between 8 and 10 wearings on average, so you have that many days/wearings to find out if what intrigues you initially is a dud, what disappoints you is actually a treasure, or if a scent is not worth the cash, or if it's a good staple for when you don't know what to wear in a given day.

I can see it as a spring fragrance. It being the season in between the cold winter and summer makes it a mature fresh and powerful scent

Gucci Guilty Elixir, to me, it smells like mothballs. Expensif and not worth the buying.

I have both but in my opinion the OG is way better than the clone.

Will get Oud. That’s next. I have smelled it. Love it. By Killian - Angels is wonderful. Dead on. Straight to Heaven number 2. Roja - Burlington dead on. Diaghalev and Amber Aoud are 2 and 3. TF - love. Japon Noir and Plum Japonais are 1/2. Then Beau de Jour. Fougere in top 10. Wear once a month. Love it. Amouage - Jubilation 25 first. I have the one you mentioned.

Idk y ppl buy creed clones tbh. None of them really do it as good as creed, even with their constant garbage reformulations. Secondly, creed aventus can be had for pretty cheap these days. If it’s still too much for a given budget, buy an actually well made scent that’s its own thing instead of some meh clone.

I'm the type to not lock any frag behind any season. Just as he mentioned that a "winter" fragrance's notes are heightened in the heat should tell you something. You can use whatever you like in any season, just be conscientious with the sprays.

Ok, I really don't understand how this community perfume has no originality. Most of them copy others or are simply paid to advertise some perfumes. It is not clear to me that Nautica Voyage is still pushing itself as an excellent perfume? It's such a cheap, synthetic perfume that smells like cucumbers. When you have brutal perfumes like PDM, LV in the section, you put Nautica Voyage 🤦🤦🤦...

I personally prefer molecule 02 as well. It smells cleaner and fresher to me.

I only have Instant Crush so far, but I just scored a 100 ml bottle of Bond No 9 New Bond St from TJ Maxx yesterday 🥳 I couldn't pass that up. I'd never seen a high end niche fragrance like that at a rack store! I already had their sample pack, so it wasn't a total blind buy.

The Vibrato style perfume is so overdone, we have Rosso Pompei, Tygar, Acqua de Dora, Mahina, Turathi Blue, Theoreme pour Homme... even Burlington 1819 and 21 Conduit Street are related to that family.
